Shanghai Art Fair 2005 at the Shanghai International Expo Exhibition Hall 15th till 20th November 2005. From November 16th to 20th 2005, it was held in Shanghai MART. I exhibited 25 paintings with the Vantaly Art Gallery. There were more than four hundred galleries participating in this art fair. I felt very honoured that a gallery in the People’s Republic of China had so much trust in me to hold this only solo watercolour exhibition in this entire art fair. To me, it was a very daring move on the part of the gallery. Very often, it is galleries from Singapore sponsoring artists from Mainland China to exhibit in Singapore. But seldom the other way round. Wang Jin and her husband Mr. Luo were very supportive of my works and they were willing to go all out to promote my paintings in China.
